sketchbook Goldfish

A quick sketch of wiggly goldfish from the lobby of a restaurant I went to this past weekend. These fishes are ubiquitous to most every Chinese restaurant and are an ordinary sight, but upon closer inspection although they are beautiful, they are like alien creatures entirely.... Utterly incapable of swimming in a straight line, nor swimming fast enough to escape any kind of predator. Their awkward wriggling locomotion is mesmerizing in its strangeness and showiness.
