I learned how to use a crow quill pen!!!
Our first assignment in Illustration was to use the crow quill pen for a fun illustration with the theme "Bots, Dots, Zits." I went a little crazy with excitement over using this old school pen for the first time. The scratchy feeling of the pen nib working against the paper, watching the ink flow from a drop on the pen to a smooth line on the paper - it's so satisfying.
In the VisComm class, Pietruschka has been flogging us on making a new signature for ourselves, so I tried something different this time.
nice! i like the signatori too, looks designer.
